Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a quick and easy way to remove this account once it’s created. Now, each time you sign into your personal Microsoft Account, you’ll be prompted to choose whether you want to use your Microsoft Account, or your Work or School account. The trial sign up worked fine, though Power BI is not a service that gets attached to a Microsoft Account, instead, it creates a new Organizational AKA Work or School AKA Azure AD account using your email address. For this, I used my personal Microsoft Account ( ) I was testing the user experience of signing up for a Power BI trial without having an existing Office 365 subscription. UPDATE #1: You can also rename the email alias on your Microsoft Account if you can’t remove your work or school account for any reason.

UPDATE #2: It works! it took about a week, though after deleting the account and domain from Office 365, I’m no longer prompted to choose between a Microsoft account and a Work or School Account Wait for Outlook to sign out and exit the application.Remove Work or School account option when signing into Microsoft Account (Confirmed working!).Next, select the Delete option to confirm.Select the Outlook account and click the minus icon in the bottom left corner.Click Outlook next to the Apple logo in the top-left corner.Under the Email tab, select the account you want to sign out of and click Remove.On the Mail setup window, click Email Accounts.On the right pane, click Account Settings and choose the Account Settings option.Click the File menu at the top left corner.If you have signed in to multiple Outlook accounts, select the one you wish to sign out of.

On the other hand, if you only have one linked Outlook account and trying to remove it, you should consider saving your Outlook data. For other devices like Mac or mobile devices, you have the Delete option, which temporarily removes the account from your system. You can sign out of the Outlook app on the web and Office 365 versions.
